Each home hemodialysis nurse/technician:

​

• Works closely with the patient’s Nephrologist and the home hemo program team

• Administers the required medications provided by the dialysis center per the doctor’s prescription and instructions

• Records pre and post treatment vitals

• Draws labs on a monthly basis

• Performs water testing and sampling, equipment sterilization, and biohazard control

• Sets up equipment and monitors patient during the treatment
